Exclusive: GAC Hyper HL SUV Launch Benefits Extended until 2025 - Specs, Prices, and Features

On May 7th, we learned from the official GAC Hyper that the launch benefits for its mid-to-large SUV, the Hyper HL (specs and price inquiry), have been extended until May 31, 2025. These benefits include lifetime free charging and basic maintenance, among others. The new vehicle has already been launched and begun deliveries, offering a total of 8 configurations with a price range of 269,800 to 319,800 yuan.

Specifically, during the promotional period, users who pay a deposit can enjoy the following benefits: lifetime free charging (limited to 2,000 kWh per year; not applicable to other non-eligible vehicles; valid at GAC Energy s self-operated charging stations), 0% interest financing for 3 years up to 200,000 yuan, first-year smart driving insurance, and more. Additionally, they can purchase a 5,000-yuan service package (including maintenance pickup and delivery, door-to-door services, enhanced loaner car services, accident standby assistance, and charging assistance) for 2,999 yuan.

In terms of exterior design, the new car adopts an overall concept officially referred to as the Land Yacht. It features a closed front grille paired with split-type headlights, offering strong visual recognition. At the rear, the vehicle incorporates a popular full-width taillight design, with vertical elements on both sides to enhance its layered visual appeal. For color options, the car will be available in four shades: Navigation Blue, Ice Rock Gray, Deep Sea Green, and Night Shadow Black. Regarding dimensions, the Haobo HL measures 5126mm in length, 1990mm in width, and 1750mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3088mm and a drag coefficient of 0.268.

For the interior, the new vehicle is equipped with a floating trapezoidal full LCD instrument panel paired with a 27-inch W-HUD head-up display system and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The center console features a 17.3-inch 3K high-definition touchscreen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip and supporting an end-to-cloud AI voice model. In terms of features, the new model includes dual 50W fast-charging panels, gradient ambient lighting, smartphone connectivity (HiCar/Carlink/CarPlay), a heat-insulating panoramic sunroof, power-closing doors for all four doors, an in-car refrigerator, and a 540-degree panoramic parking assist system. The cabin offers both five-seat and six-seat layouts, with three interior color options: Chibi Danxia, Iceland Black Sand, and Desert Sand Brown.

In terms of intelligent configuration, the new vehicle is equipped with the ADiGO intelligent driving assistance system, which includes features such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Blind Spot Detection Warning (BSD), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA), Smart Parking, Full-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and a full-scenario intelligent driving system with NDA 4.0 City Navigation Advanced Intelligent Driving (covering highway and urban intelligent driving capabilities).
In terms of powertrain, the Haobo HL is equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform and 5C ultra-fast charging, offering both pure electric and range-extender powertrain options. The pure electric version will feature two configurations: a rear-mounted single-motor RWD and a dual-motor AWD setup. The single-motor variant delivers a maximum power of 250 kW and peak torque of 430 N·m, with optional ternary lithium battery capacities of 95.9 kWh or 108.35 kWh, providing CLTC-rated ranges of 670 km and 750 km, respectively. The dual-motor version boasts a combined power output of 380 kW and torque of 670 N·m, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. It is paired with a 108.35 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, achieving a maximum CLTC range of 700 km. The range-extender model will include an onboard generator and a 250 kW rear-mounted single motor with 430 N·m of torque, coupled with a 60.21 kWh ternary lithium battery. It offers a pure electric CLTC range of 350 km and a total range exceeding 1,200 km. Additionally, it comes standard with 5C flash charging, enabling a 30%-80% charge in just 10 minutes.
