Genesis G70 Track Day Concept Car: Official Images and Upgrades for Track Performance

[Autohome New Car Official Images] Recently, Genesis officially released a set of images for the G70 Track Day concept car. Positioned as a mid-size sedan, the vehicle has been upgraded for track performance, featuring a new aerodynamic kit and other enhancements. However, it is not expected to enter mass production.

Specifically, the new car is equipped with a fresh aerodynamic kit, featuring a prominent front splitter at the lower part of the nose and triangular vortex generators on both sides—each with two flaps—significantly enhancing front-end downforce. The headlight cluster retains its original design but now employs yellow lighting elements. Additionally, four diamond-shaped light units have been added to the lower bumper, while two new air vents have been incorporated into the hood.

From the side profile, the new car features orange G70 decals and the words Nürburgring Nordschleife, with the design inspiration for this concept also derived from the Genesis G70 Nürburgring Nordschleife Taxi. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with racing wheels, large brake discs, and an upgraded suspension to further enhance its track performance.

From the rear, the new car features a large-sized rear spoiler, which significantly enhances downforce. However, the lower section is relatively plain, without an aggressive diffuser design—only a new racing-style taillight has been added. The vehicle still retains oval-shaped dual exhaust pipes with a blackened finish.
In terms of power, the new car is expected to be equipped with a 3.3T V6 engine, delivering a maximum power of 373 horsepower and a peak torque of 510N·m. The transmission system will be paired with an 8-speed automatic manual transmission. (Text/Autohome Yan Huan)
