[Auto Home New Car Official Images] Recently, Renault officially released a set of images for the Renault 4 E-Tech. The new vehicle is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV and is expected to launch overseas in 2025. The Renault 4 is a car with a long history, first introduced in 1961, and now it is being reborn as an electric vehicle.

Externally, the new addition includes a Hauts-de-France green paint option, paying homage to the trendy colors of the 1960s. The vehicle features a closed-off, darkened grille adorned with multiple sets of vertical and diagonal patterns. The circular headlights are flanked by bracket-shaped LED daytime running lights, complemented by an illuminated Renault logo in the center, giving it a highly futuristic appearance. The darkened lower bumper design adds a touch of crossover flair to this compact car.

From the side profile, the three raised character lines on the doors enhance the vehicle s sense of strength, while the trapezoidal rear window design adds a distinctive touch. At the rear, the new car features a three-segment capsule-style LED taillight cluster that creates a strong three-dimensional effect, accompanied by a dynamic numeral 4 beside the lights. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4.14 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.62 meters.

In terms of the interior, the new car features a 10-inch dual-screen display, equipped with Google s OpenR Link system. The built-in Google Maps provides charging route planning, and the infotainment system also includes a virtual travel companion named Reno, capable of answering questions or interacting with users. The interior boasts many interesting small details, such as French flag patterns on the front of the passenger seat and the seatbacks.

In terms of powertrain, the new model will feature a pure electric drive with a maximum power output of 110kW, achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.5 seconds. It will be equipped with a 52kWh battery, offering a WLTP-rated pure electric range of 402km. The battery can be charged from 15% to 80% in just 30 minutes. (Text/Autohome Yan Huan)
