On May 7th, we learned from SAIC-GM-Wuling s official announcement that the Hongguang MINIEV family sold 28,990 units in April, securing its position as the sales champion in the new energy microcar segment for 57 consecutive months. Since its official launch in 2020, the Hongguang MINIEV has gained recognition from over 1.5 million users. Leveraging feedback from millions of users, Wuling has continuously iterated and updated its product lineup, introducing models such as the Macaron, GAMEBOY, convertible version, and the third-generation Hongguang MINIEV. Notably, the brand s all-new midsize sedan—the 2025 Wuling Xingguang—is set to launch within the second quarter. The vehicle has already begun pre-sales, offering three configurations with a pre-sale price range of 109,800 to 129,800 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the 2025 Wuling Xingguang continues the Starlight Aesthetics design, giving it strong recognition. For color options, the vehicle will offer Starry Night Black, Starlight Gold, and Starry White for users to choose from. Regarding dimensions, it measures 4835mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1515mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2800mm, positioning it as a mid-size sedan.

For the interior, the new model features a steering wheel with a fresh design, along with adjustments to the layout of the central control area. The previous rotary gear selector has been replaced by a column-mounted shifter, further optimizing storage space on the center console island. In terms of color schemes, the vehicle offers options of Sunrise Orange and Midnight Gray to cater to different user preferences.

The vehicle also supports full-speed range intelligent driving assistance from 0-130 km/h, accurately identifying obstacles and dynamically adjusting speed. Additionally, precise lane-changing control can be achieved via the turn signal lever, effectively reducing driver fatigue. It is also equipped with high-speed intelligent navigation assistance, capable of smart ramp entry and exit without relying on high-definition maps, effortlessly handling complex road conditions. In terms of power, the car is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum output of 150 kW and a peak torque of 310 N·m. For battery options, it offers ranges of 510 km and 610 km depending on the configuration. (Text/Autohome Zhou Yi)
