Deep Blue S09: Luxury and Innovation in the Latest Vehicle Model

Recently, DeepBlue Auto announced that it delivered 25,521 vehicles in May, marking a year-on-year increase of 78% and a month-on-month growth of 27%. Additionally, cumulative pre-orders for the DeepBlue S09 have exceeded 21,168 units. The DeepBlue S09 officially launched on May 22, offering five model variants with a suggested retail price range of 239,900 to 309,900 yuan, and a subsidized price range of 204,900 to 274,900 yuan.

The Deep Blue S09 adopts an all-new Symbiotic Aesthetics in its design, creating an overall visual effect that befits a flagship model bearing the 9 series designation. The vehicle dimensions measure 5205mm in length, 1996mm in width, and 1800mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3105mm. For exterior colors, the new model offers consumers options including Ocean Smoke Blue, Mountain Snow Silver, Cangshan Gray, and Deep Ink Black.

Upon entering the vehicle, the Deep Blue S09 s center console follows the exterior s design language—refreshing and minimalist. The use of materials like leather adds a touch of luxury to the cabin ambiance. The new model features dual 15.6-inch front screens paired with a 43-inch AR-HUD head-up display, complemented by the HarmonySpace 5 Hongmeng cockpit. This setup delivers an immersive, versatile environment, supporting scenarios such as a private cinema, premium music hall, or family karaoke room.

The Deep Blue S09 features a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, with the second row equipped with two independent zero-gravity seats. Functions such as lumbar support, leg rests, heating, ventilation, and massage are all available in the new model, making it a fully loaded configuration. Additionally, a 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen is installed above, supporting 0-75° electric adjustment, ensuring the optimal viewing experience when zero-gravity mode is activated. Notably, the new model also includes a front-and-rear movable island console, which not only provides wireless phone charging but also comes with a 10L capacity combined cooling and heating refrigerator that can be freely adjusted between -6°C and 50°C.

In terms of powertrain, the Deepal S09 features the Deepal Super Range Extension 2.0 technology, combining the new Blue Whale HE1.5T ultra-high-pressure direct-injection hybrid-specific range extender with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system to form its range-extended powertrain. The total motor power reaches 362 kW, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds. In addition to the dual-motor AWD version, the Deepal S09 will also offer a more accessible single-motor rear-wheel-drive variant, equipped with a 231 kW rear-mounted single motor. For the battery, the Deepal S09 is fitted with a 40.18 kWh unit, delivering a pure electric range of 220 km for the RWD version and 210 km for the AWD version.
