Unveiling the All-New Lexus ES Interior: A Closer Look at the Features and Design Adapted for Chinese Consumers

Recently, the interior of the all-new Lexus ES was unveiled, featuring two large screens that better cater to the needs of Chinese consumers. The new Lexus ES will be available in hybrid and all-electric versions.

In terms of the interior, the all-new Lexus ES minimizes physical buttons as much as possible and features two floating screens of the same size. The central display supports multi-window functionality, with quick-access menus at the bottom and left side, while the co-pilot screen extends entertainment features. The instrument panel is also generously sized, and the steering wheel adopts touch-sensitive button controls.

The overall ambiance inside the car is excellent, with ambient lighting encircling the doors. An electronic gear shift is used in the center console, while the electronic parking brake and AUTOHOLD buttons are retained. The rear seats are spacious and generously sized, featuring a phone charging port and air conditioning vents for passengers.

In terms of appearance, the all-new Lexus ES adopts a more dynamic coupe-style body design. The overall silhouette remains sleek, perfectly blending business and sportiness. The front of the car features split headlights, with daytime running lights retaining Lexus classic styling. The exaggerated air vents on both sides integrate seamlessly with the headlight clusters in this area.

On the side profile, the new car adopts a coupe-style body design, with L-shaped black decorative strips along the sides further accentuating its sporty feel. It is equipped with large multi-spoke wheels, adding a touch of business sophistication. In terms of powertrain, Lexus unveiled two models at the auto show—the ES 350e and ES 500e—with plans to introduce pure electric and hybrid versions in the future. (Text/Autohome Qin Chao)
