[Auto Home New Car Debut] At the 2025 Greater Bay Area Auto Show, which opened on May 31, the Xiaomi YU7 (parameters|inquiry) made its first public appearance. The new vehicle is currently open for inquiries but has not yet begun accepting pre-orders. It is scheduled to officially launch in July.

Looking back at the new car, its exterior features a closed front grille design, with the headlight clusters on both sides equipped with crisscrossing LED daytime running lights. Additionally, a wind channel design that extends to the front hood is integrated into the headlight assembly. The vehicle also adopts a clamshell-style front hood, covering an area of up to 3.11 square meters, beneath which lies an oversized 141L electric front trunk capable of supporting up to eight different opening and closing modes.

On the side profile, the new car showcases the design lines of a coupe-style SUV, with ventilation openings on the front fenders and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels featuring yellow Brembo brake calipers. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4999/1996/1608 (1600) mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large-sized SUV.

At the rear, the new car features a dual-stage roof spoiler and is equipped with a small-sized flap at the end of the trunk. The taillight cluster adopts a three-dimensional halo design, offering good visibility when illuminated.

The interior emphasizes the use of premium materials, combining extensive leather surfaces, wood-grain trim, and suede. The Xiaomi SkyScreen panoramic display ensures clearer and more comprehensive information presentation. The cockpit is equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform chip, enabling faster startup and upgrades. The HyperOS car system supports simultaneous display across three interfaces, allows seamless transfer of mobile apps to the car s screen, and enables connectivity with Xiaomi s smart home ecosystem.

The front row of the vehicle is equipped with zero-gravity seats, and the two front seats also feature wider leg rests, with one-touch reclining functionality. The rear seats offer electric adjustment and are paired with an onboard refrigerator and independent screens. In terms of assisted driving, the Xiaomi YU7 comes with the Xiaomi HAD assisted driving system, providing end-to-end assisted driving. It is standard across all models with lidar and a computing power of 700 TOPS.

In terms of powertrain, the YU7 will offer both single-motor and dual-motor versions, with overall power output slightly higher than the SU7. Starting with the single-motor variant, it features rear-wheel drive, a maximum motor power of 235 kW, a top speed of 240 km/h, and is equipped with a BYD lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of 835 km. The dual-motor version delivers a combined power output of 365 kW/508 kW for the front and rear motors, a top speed of 253 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.23 seconds. It comes with a CATL ternary lithium battery, providing CLTC ranges of 770 km and 760 km, respectively. For the chassis, it is equipped with continuously variable damping shock absorbers and closed dual-chamber air springs. (Text/Autohome Guo Chen)
